A Christ-Centered Education

“He [Christ] is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by Him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.” (Colossians 1:15-17.)

At Oak Grove Classical Academy, we aim to serve Christ in all we do. Our primary goal is to provide our students with a foundation built on biblical principles in order to equip them with the truth, and prepare them for a lifetime of learning and devotion to our Lord Jesus Christ.

As the Creator of all things, Christ is at the heart of everything we do. We do not offer formal bible classes, but instead weave His love and the principles of a Biblical, gospel-centered worldview into our curriculum and every interaction with one another. From science, math, philosophy and art, to sportsmanship and conduct Christ leads us. All knowledge comes from Him, and a reverence for the Lord and the Bible is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10).

A home built on biblical standards is crucial to a Christ-centered education. We ask our families, faculty and staff to sign a Statement of Faith, promising to cultivate in our students a passion for Christ as well as for learning. Together, we can help our students grow to follow in His footsteps, and change the world for good.
